RE:RE:LGC Capital to Hold Corporate Update Conference Call

RE:RE:LGC Capital to Hold Corporate Update Conference CallDuckmans best post yet!... Looking forward to see if they answer any of your questions.

The NR doesn't restrict the event or the questions to shareholders only so I hope that my questions will get answered. I have submitted them today, as invited, to info@howardgroupinc.com so time will tell. I thought I had better restrict myself to just 10 of the hundreds of questions which have arisen over the past few months so these are the ones I sent:
  1. Why does LGC Capital seemingly never invest in businesses which are established and/or successful and/or profitable and/or publicly listed?
  2. Why so many investments in cash-hungry businesses - would it not be fiscally prudent to invest in a smaller number of companies and focus resources on bringing them to profitability before adding similar prospects to the portfolio?
  3. Given that all LGC Capital investments to date have been in companies which are startups and/or commercially unsuccessful, how much further investment will be needed, and over how many years, to make them profitable?
  4. Will the majority of future investments be funded via equity?
  5. How - and when - will LGC Capital become profitable - or even earn any revenue?
  6. A key limiting factor on the growth of the medicinal cannabis industry appears to be the reluctance of the medical profession to prescribe it (as evidenced by the number of prescriptions written in Australia). So does the medical profession need more mainstream trials and reputable academic research before it can be won over, and if so, who will pay for this and how long will it take?
  7. Your original September 2017 investor deck and 15/8/2017 news release stated that "LGC and its JV Partner AfriAg are fully licenced to grow and transport medical cannabis from South Africa". Can you prove this?
  8. Given the charges against Yusuf Kajee, which include tobacco smuggling, was it sensible to form the House of Hemp JV with Afriag (Pty) Ltd?
  9. Given the 2016 accounts filed at Companies House by Etea Sicurezza Group, how could they possibly have had revenues of US$ 7.4m in that year?
  10. Are you aware of any regulatory investigations into LGC Capital or any of its subsidiary, associate or JV companies?
