PDAC My discussion with Harte people
PDAC My discussion with Harte people
I had an enjoyable discussion and came away feeling a lot better. Points discussed: Permits. Ahhh yes those permits. Tim Campbell has been on this diligently and things are looking far better than I had thought. Tim has been in constant meetings with the various gov't agencies and there doesn't seem to be any major obstacles except the gov't wants to keep its nose clean and so they want to make it known that they are doing the necessary consultations. Necessary consultations are my words - not Tim's. Now it may take longer that we would like to get the permit but there does not appear to be an issue that will deny a permit. Now I was very uneasy prior to this discussion about the delay in a permit but I came away from the meeting feeling a whole lot better. K7- Although only one assay result so far - Harte is excited about this area because of the geology of the large area and the similarities to Hemlo. Nothing new in my comment about this. Its a very large area and the possibilities are enormous. Any they have found gold there! Production: Still on target for June-July. Tailings Pond - They have a site that they are presently developing into a tailings pond. Work is in progress and it will not take much time to finish it. The can start production without a tailings pond because they are using geotubes to bring process water into compliance. I am personally aware of geotubes because my company sells a product that is used to treat the substrate to make it filterable through geotubes. But a tailings pond is not a limiting factor for the July start up. Harte people also feel that the lack of permit is impeding the rise to the share price but they feel that the assay results soon to come out is going to give impetus to the stock price. There was a lot of activity at the booth. A crowd of people and a huge amount of interest
