That is probably why DraftKings and FanDuel realize they need to turn to SportsBooks, yet that is already a crowded market, except in the US. If they can turn their audience into cash paying betters (not so sure because their audience is younger and not so likely to spend too much of their real cash, vs play money) then could stand a chance. I think the US Supreme Court decision will affect more than just sports. It will open up igaming across channels in due course. If sports can be bet on, why not poker?
You really have to have a team around you to win in Sportsbook. Even Stars has struggled to exponentially grow BetStars though now with the new team onboard, with oodles of experience and capacity, I suspect those struggles are a thing of the past.
