RE:RE:RE:LithiumSo, after they released their ppa they more or less said they were looking to start production 2 years from that time. Theres a reason for that. Almost all the lithium miners with any brains at all are delaying and watching the demand for lithium to rise so that they can lock in contract prices per ton at a higher rate.
Its been pretty clear from the start. I'm pretty certain their tech is pretty good sucking the lithium out in short order, the resource won't last that long at the rate they would produce at so they want to be sure they can lock in the best price for their production.
With all the companies going electric and looking at solid lithium tech for battery design, much less what samsung and toyota are designing alone lithium demand will be higher two years from now than it is now, hockey stick prices possibly. When last I checked in lithium was retailing for about 9500 a metric ton, any idea now?
