Personally I believe that Vic is beyond annoyed with health Canada, the tsx and other red tape within this country. Aphria within Canada is pretty much done once the phases are complete and grow out is to capacity. Canada has only 36 million people and there are so Many LPs and start ups trying to catch scraps from that tiny market
the American market is where big money is at. Europe is where big money is at. Vic knows this and he has the connections to make REAL Money.
I believe the LHS situation maybe Vic realize that there are too many unknowns in mixing one entity with Canadian, American and international markets. So in order to ensure this snafu or one like it doesn’t happen again, he is creating THREE separate entities.
Aph the parent company is likely a buyout candidate. There could already be a handshake and nod agreement as some on here have hinted. If you didn’t know this was always the end game with aph, perhaps you’ve never had the pleasure of speaking to Vic personally or those in his inner circle. You will be taken care of. So no sour grapes.
Aph International is just a NEW opportunity to join Vic on another, much larger journey.
This will all shake out soon. The Ts and Is are being crossed and dotted.
