Canadian Armed Forces Re: Body Armor Re: mention of Canada (and the Ukraine) in CC of Dec 2017.
The timeline for new body armor as per the Canadian Armed Forces Government Website is 2022-4yrs from now. So a contract generating revenue from any sale of body armor to Canada is 48 mths into the future. However the size of the contract is large. Between $150Million to $250million (1/4 billion $$$).
If you look at the detailed description of what the Canadian Armed Forces is migrating to replace its current body armed issue to their war fighter/security/peach keeping forces? Its easy to see they are near word for word describing the Flex9Armor PTF product line. CAF BODY ARMOR MODERNIZATION REQUIREMENTS
Replace Existing Systems Objective Soldiers require a new lighter weight modular, configurable and integrated individual protection system which is compatible with current and future equipment.
