Probably didn't want to give the stock a penny or two pop and have to re-jig the terms of the merger....too much work when you've clearly just given up.


FixT was a small investment - only $125k from Grenville, matched with another $125k from their JV partners. (Speaking of which, no word on that partnership in a while.)  So I doubt the contract buyout is a material sum.  That said, they likely saw a pretty good IRR on this one, since their initial investment was last April.

Did some digging on Clear Blue.  They're in the midst of an RTO with a TSX-V shell called Dagobah Ventures.  Curiously no news from Clear Blue itself.  I only found this via search on Sedar.
