Exactly right. IVN is not a producer. They are not even at construction. They have zero debt. They are still completing feasibility.
In other words, they are not committed, and are in a position to walk away until which time the situation becomes favourable. That is NOT something KAT can do with nearly $12 billion Cad in long term debt and current liabilities. They're trapped, and won't see any profit for years, if ever. Meanwhile, their debt continues to increase at Libor + additional interest, month after month, year after year.
So, why is KAT up? Beats me.
