Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:Trying to make sense of Aphria International

RE:Trying to make sense of Aphria InternationalHey 54, good post. Your theory is definitely plausible. I think the key piece to the AI puzzle is the Nasdaq listing. They are pursuing it hard. International deaignation in and of itself doesn’t mean much, but what it does mean is they are working closely with nasdaq specialists to comply with their guidelines and get that main listing. The share split which has been confirmed was up to 8/1 and only managed to be 4/1. Why? Because the SP of scyb/AI has to be 4.00 or higher in USD. Something tells me they would prefer to have a little buffer room there and not straddle it exactly. In CAD we are talking  5.20 ish. As you can see they’ve already modified their course a bit, to ensure everything they are doing is done to the letter.

Overlooked in this whole soap opera is current scyb Jonathan Gilbert. If you wish to look in to him there are a lot of articles on him online. He lives in...... you guessed it NY and is heavily connected on Wall Street. BIG money. REAL money. A lot of people wondering WHY scyb as the shell. Perhaps JG is the reason.

Cheers
