Cost of mining

I did a google search of cost of mining 1 coin in the US and came up with about $4000 a coin...now where HIVE has its operations it should even be less.So at todays Bitcoin pricearound $8000 a coin it would seem to me that this company should be making tons of money...or am i missing something?
