There was no "nervous nelly" news today. It's the exact same news as last week. We already know that international miners have formed their own organization for talks with the government. We already know the new mining law was passed. There is absolutely nothing new here.

And KAT is up for no apparent reason whatsoever, even as Glencore, their primary shareholder, has dropped. They are in the same region of Congo as K-K, and are subject to far more punishing royalties. The trading cannot be explained away through ordinary fundamentals. The "news" is simply a cover for action by market operators. The question is are they acting for themselves, or for someone else?
