Investors (retail especially) are skiddish about IVN in the first place. This story references an advisor to the prime minister - how much weight should you put on that? I suspect the sell off is the continued exchange of shares from weak hands to strong ones. This too shall pass.

And KAT is up for no apparent reason whatsoever, even as Glencore, their primary shareholder, has dropped. They are in the same region of Congo as K-K, and are subject to far more punishing royalties. The trading cannot be explained away through ordinary fundamentals. The "news" is simply a cover for action by market operators. The question is are they acting for themselves, or for someone else?
