RE:RE:Massive drop today. You are 99% certain? I wish things are that simple in the trading world. Unless you are an insider you have no idea what is going to happen. Shorts have lots of risk as well, any good news or signs of reconciliation they are screwed.
If you take a step back and think about what happened today, all that happened was parties getting ready for a 30-day negotiation. DRC lamenting on the miners' "threats" during the first meeting; and the miners clearly drawing a line from the chamber which never addressed their concern for the stability clause. Copper being strategic, arbitration, closing mines...They are conjecturing. NOTHING HAS CHANGED. These are just sticking points when they meet to iron out the regulations. So wtf really happened today? Nothing. It's like people never seen a (proper) negotiation before. Like you said, market sentiment was skittish to begin with and weak hands will fade. But to say that it'll drop to X Y Z before it recovers is BS. It all depends on the outcome of the upcoming 30-day negotiation. The price will be driven by pretty much that alone (not technicals) and the insiders who are privy to the ongoing negotiation.
