RE:RE:RE:Selling pressure

Thanks Wever...

But my question is slightly different.

Lithium is a bit like graphite... really plentiful in the world and all that matters is the cost of extraction. In graphite, u can have the soft rock deposit where the cost of extraction is sub 400/t and hard rock is upward of 1200/t... the size of deposit ceases to matter with such a difference and we are better off with a smaller soft rock deposit rather than a large hard rock one. Ofcourse the hard rock is typically higher grade by a few % points, but not all that difference to make a preference for a hard rock deposit.

In lithium, the grade differences are significant between saline and rock deposit. In the former, it's typically 50 to 200 ppm, while Plateau has reported grades in  the range of 3500ppm... so the garde might make the cost of extracation comparable to that of saline deposits.

We cannot assume Uranium demand might kick in at the same time and to the same extent. PLU might be selling 1 to 2 Mlbs/year of Uranium and 10Mlbs of lithium... so want to know if lithium would be profitable on a stand alone basis or more importantly if it can compete with saline deposits on account of the grade.
