Bottom line is, no one is going to walk away because there is a much less painful solution for all. That's all folks. That's the bottom line. They have already shown us the extreme scenarios. The consensus is somehwere in between. This is not a case where a company is trying to apply for a mining license at the outset. All parties are pot-committed at this point. They all need each other.

The only way this can fall through is if one party is truly stupid enough to lack the foresight of seeing the damage/lost opportunity that would ensue if they don't reach an agreement. But you have to assume they are not stupid. They are prepared and they have the knowledge of foresight. So this negotiation is reduced to really just a valuation exercise of various fall-back positions. can I remind you guys that despite what you think of DRC these are sohisticated parties. This is not an average Joe buying a car from a dealership.
