Sukhi, there was definitely something awry with the SHORT SCENARIO. Either some of management was complicit or just to inexperienced to protect themselves from it happening. IMHO that's one big reason the distribution was so generous.

IMHO the price will rebound back to around $9 before Q3. But you know know what they say about opinions and???? Everybody has at least one of each.

The price will rise because the shorts have to cover before the distributions they are responsible for eat up their profits. It's kind of murky how many units were really shorted. Likely I don't have access to all of the information.

Seeing as most of the units in Canada and the US are being held in retirement investment vehicles such as TFSA/RRSP/401K and private plans by institutions, not that many units are available to short. Only the large banks that brokered the loans with Crius would have enough units to make this possible or maybe the units Cruis still holds in reserve would be available to short. That pretty much narrows things down IMHO and why I am supicious of where the units to short came from.

In Canada you have to open a separate account for shorting in as much that you can't short units/stocks if you have long positions of the same stock/unit in the account.

More here than meets the eye. Either just bordering on the edge of legality or ????

I did not expect this to take such a hit or I would have sold in the 9s. Every time it should have stopped, units traded hands in large quantities between a few brokerages.?????????????
