They have a commercial supply agreement where the costs are around 3.5 cents per kWh usd. They are getting power from local natural gas plants, they bypass most of fees the average Alberta consumer pay on their Epcor bill. I work for a large company and its disgusting how they get power for almost nothing compared the regular residential consumer. In edmonton I'm paying around 5.9 cents a kWh plus with the fees and taxes around 12 cents all in per kWh as a residential customer billed via Atco.

Your crazy to think a large commercial customer would be paying almost double the rate of the regular residential customer....
