RE:RE:Could Bitcoin And Gold Benefit From Weakness In The Stocks?Agree, gold got killed in the 2008 with other markets. I doubt that will happen to Bitcoin because most people invested in BTC do not invest in regular stock markets. THat's what I have read so far. I could be wrong. I am sure though that companies like HIVE will get hit hard (if it can get hit any harder) if markets start tanking. As with gold, it is much better to hold BTC or ETH than companies that mine coins. Especialy now that it get easier everyday to buy and store cryptocurrency.

Don't get your hopes up, but I would look at gold historicals during market crashes. This time around I think it will be GOLD that benifits.

Cryptocurrency "certainly has some of the advantages of precious metals," said Parker, COO of IRA Bitcoin LLC. "It is a non-correlated asset that should be resistant to market volatility and may even benefit from a sentiment-based shift to alternative assets," he stated.
