Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:What exactly is Aphria buying in Nuuvera?" CountingLoonies, About a year ago Aphria along with others paid 60MM for Chestnut Farms. Basically what they acquired was a license which are pretty rare in Florida. You are trying to place a value on an intangible. What is a license worth? Well if there are limited licenses as is the case in Germany and Italy it could be worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Trying to figure out the value of these licenses is quite frankly above my pay grade and I would suspect above yours as well. I would hope you invested in Aphria partly because you like the management and more specifically you liked the management of Vic Neufeld. Now is the time to trust that management and not try to figure out things which quite frankly you don't have the information or inside knowledge to do. As Montevale said, wait for the pieces to fall in place.
