RE:Re re re valuations
RE:Re re re valuationsWell 'seen' I actually think that TOS should be worth somewhere between 6.75 and 7.25 Cdn.
I've had a 5.87 target on it since forever and that's without FDA clearence on duodenoscopes.
On the otherhand I've been in the markets long enough to know that no matter how many 'experts' brief you on a stock you better follow your own DD, common sense, and or experience.
I haven't done that with TOS over the years or I would have sold more of my position at 2.65 in the last few months when I had the chance. (I am still VERY over weight)
Lesson: NEVER fall in love with your stocks - they don't love you back - ever!
As far as praying before getting a colonoscopy as I mentioned here some months ago I had a good friend develope a severe infection after having a scope procedure and I am quite sure he became infected during that - he died shortly after that due to 'complications'
If I or my wife were to have to have a colonoscopy I would - without hesitation if it could be arranged - pay for a flight out west as I believe they are using the VP4 in some institutions in BC?
Further to that I am in a dialogue with my local hospital I donate to regarding their procedure for 'cleaning' scopes.
They have, after 3 requests, sent me info on how they reprocess their scopes and point out proudly that they 'double clean' them and use the STERIS System 1 Express. According to them "Steris has a claim to sterility through using that machine (though not widely accepted) - their parenthesis
The point of this overly long email is this:
We have talked for years here about the VP4's potential and what is frustrating to me is that Rumble, or whom ever, has I guess focused on the US market and probably should have went to every health institution in Canada first instead.
The VP4 has been validated here as capable of sterilizing long complex scopes since 2015 and it is frustrating that hospitals here, including the one where my friend got infected, does not even know of TOS3, a company within 250KM's of them.
I am in the process of answering their email and intend on informing them of the VP4 but of course they are concerned about liability and can't admit that their duodenoscopes are NOT sterilized and have probably infected patients in the past.
Hospitals in Canada are publicly funded and we as taxpayers, whether you donate or not, have every right to know how they process OUR equipment - get off your butts and find out what your hospital is doing.
As an aside there was an item in the paper March 29th regarding a hospital in New Brunswick that it was found was responsible for infecting patients with hepatitis B, C, or worse over years using contaminated FORCEPS - mostly pregnant women I suspect.
They have paid out over a million in compensation so far.
How in HELL can that happen in this country that is supposed to have one of the best health systems in the world. Ridiculous!!
