RE:this is how stupid our senate isWhat's your point on that item from the bill?  It was pretty clear the conservatives couldn't understand it.  If a "child" (12-17) is possesing weed, they for sure should not be criminalized.  If a kid between 12-17 is in possession of alchohol, do we send them to jail?  No.  Same should occur with weed.  Actually, almost every argument associated with weed, should be directly compared to alcohol for the most part... tobacco too.  We don't send kids to jail for possessing cigarettes.

The conservatives seem to think children should end up with a record of some sort.  Or if they don't think that, then they're being idiots trying to make a point that makes no sense.  The conservatives need to STFU and let Canada lead for once.
