RE:instagram shut down

RE:instagram shut downTheir page is still up but There has been no content uploaded since The 8th.  Not sure what’s going on I message them asking about opening up an online store but got no response.  Would be interesting to message them in regard to the lack of content . It looked like the guy who runs it was on holiday in Vegas so I gave them a break but now it’s weird haha .

then it got me thinking . What is the legality of advertising through media like that . No guarantee that 19+ age group only would see it . Chances are high a lot of underage people would see the content and having a private account and weeding through applicants isn’t realistic either . I think / know there is a lot of illegal sales / extract artists , dispensaries and brands and things going on through insta . Companies with no license etc ... kind of nice to not be partaking in it . As much as I was a fan of the content and think it has worked for companies and brands in the past . Maybe they found sales were good enough and word of mouth was spreading so they don’t need a platform like that .

ive been wondering haha

Who knows . Maybe it is a switch to new content provider or new medium . I need to look into the advertising laws in the u.s states and Canada .
Cheers
