The other thing to consider is that all this APH insiders surely have much larger position in APH. So what is it in it if they overpay NUU? because that way they reduce their holding value in APH. Vic probably have 5 percent in APH. At the time of deal announcement, APH was above 20$. Right now is at 12.50$. That is 35% decrease of his stock value in APH >> 5% of 160 million share * 35% loss= 60 million loss for Vic. Compare that to NUU benefit of 4.5/7=640 thousand. Judge for yourself if this was the motivation!!!
