RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:>$34 gets $38I haven't followed this as closely as I should but I was talking with someone a couple of months ago that claimed to be in the know. Please chime in if this is patently false. But the story I heard was that 5 or 6 of the 8 licenses were set to go to Canadian companies, another to Bedrocan and the last two to German companies. That the German were furious and hence the court proceedings. That the most likely end would be another license or two awarded to German companies and at least one taken from the Canadian firms.
Either way Canopy is getting a license, not a doubt in my mind about that.
Thing is, the longer this is delayed and we can keep exporting there the better.
The strange thing is we haven't seen much in the way of sales there to date.
The curious thing is when all of the sudden we saw a lot of product disappear from tweedmainstreet. Did we do a major shipment there this qrt?
Guess we find out a lot over the next 6 weeks.

I can't see the Appeal winning, because it would benext to impossible to have any upstarts gain the financial backing and experience to actually ever be big enough to supply a market 3 times the size of Canada. And it IS a valid arguement that the Government wants companies with size/experience to initiate the process. Personally, If I had to bet I would say that the appeal is a fail. But even if there is some effort to somehow include "German-based" companies that are in partnership with a big/experienced company, then it's still a total win for WEED.
Personally, I'd put the odds at 80/20 that we'll be (finally!) be hearing positive news on the German front, which will not only be a massive market in and of itself, but will also establish a different mindset of Canopy that it truly is a GLOBAL company.

Bird1splitter wrote: Wednesday we get an update from Germany and probably licenses issued soon after. There is no end of news that could happen. Highly unlikely we acquire any more Canadian Jrs that will be up to the laggers to try to catch up. More likely the Juniors just die off unless the can produce a strain that cures a disease.
