I doubt they could go private without disclosing greater than a 10% ownership by the predomanant players.
Regardless, in order for a SH to get anything out of a company going public to private, they would have to create a shell company to transfer the existing shares to, otherwise nada. Shares will be worth nothing.
Happened to me once before. Shell company is still in existance, but worth .002 cents per share.
