Info from Investor relationsI was curious as Golden Leaf didn’t appear to sell the Franchisor as some on here were posting. In fact this is the first 25-35 Franchises where they will have a 20% ownership in the franchises by the Franchisor . This cost the “millions” are leaseholds and inventory ..... here is the clarity straight from the company.
The 80/20 split refers to the stake in the management company that between BlackShire and Chalice will operate Chalice Farms franchises, not any acquired stake by BlackShire in Chalice Farms.
Today’s announcement would only cover those locations opened jointly between GLH and BlackShire, not any other franchising opportunities that GLH may enter into in the future.
