Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

Technicals on APH shows that if we don't hold $12 support, the next support is $8.03

Fundamentals on APH as well as other Canadian MJ stocks shows we can lose a LOT of and still be overpriced compared to US counterparts.

Aprhia
Market Cap $2.1B
Revenue (TTM) $25.5M
Shares Outstanding 160.6M

Canopy Growth - WEED.TO
Market Cap $6.8B
Revenue (TTM) $69.8M
Shares Outstanding 198.4M

Terra Tech TRTCD
Market Cap $163.3M ($210M CDN)
Revenue (TTM) $35.8M ($46M CDN)
Shares Outstanding 65.3M

ACB.TO
Market Cap $4.8B
Revenue (TTM) $31.1M
Shares Outstanding 490.0M

Share price on comparable 100M shares issued to compare them on equal footing:
Assuming 100M shares issues, with current market cap

APH: $21 per share with $25.5m in revenues
WEED: $68 per share with $70M in revenues
ACB: $48 per share with $31M in revenues
TRTCD: $2.10 per share with $40M in revenues

It's pretty clear that cross border shopping for MJ stocks might be a good idea if you still like the potential of this sector without the extreme pullback we might see on the Canadian side.

The US side seems to be 6 months ahead of us on that front.  TRTCD is the first public listed MJ stock in the US and they have a strong footprint in both California and Nevada. Both states are recreational legal today.  If you know other candidates with comparable great values like TRTCD, please let me know.  I don't get married to my stocks.

I held APH, traded it. Rebought too early, cut my loses and might rebuy but I'm concerned about the overvaluation while the overall markets are correcting and possibly heading into bear territory. I still hold a small amount of APH but I wish I didn't.  I hate bad trades, I should have switched it all to WEED but I had done well trading APH in the past.  The NUU acquisition was horrid and the market still haven't forgiven APH for it.  It's not worth 1/4 of APH, simple.
