RE:RE:Argh CIBC! Just called TD and the reason retailers can trade CMM/ALEF is the fact the depository has not issued the ALEF shares to TD, thus TD will not take orders on ALEF as there is a high risk.  Thus we wait for the shares in our accounts.  i assume it is the same with other institutes.
