Germany

GermanyThere are two ways to look at this The negative part of it is that it would have been nice to actually be producing in the country and acquiring one of the licenses but bad now is put on hold. The great thing about the delay is that we will be exporting a lot more cannabis to Germany. This means that canopy will reap 100% of the profits of everything we sell in Germany. We don't need the production in Germany but Bruce's MO is to partner with a local company in order to help secure licensing. It is a fantastic way of doing business but it does end up splitting the profits with the partner. Canopy is a world leader and whenever Germany is ready canopy will secure license that is a given. Until then we make even more money exporting cannabis to Germany. Once again Bruce has been very prudent in his approach and didn't jump the gun and start building facilities. There are other companies that already have facilities underway and are now going to be under a lot of pressure.
