The Sugar Zone Property is located approximately 80 kilometers east of the Hemlo gold camp on the north shore of Lake Superior. It includes approximately 4 mining leases and 336 unpatented mining claims. In addition, it also consists of approximately 29,435 hectares within the Sault Ste. The Stoughton Abitibi property is located approximately 110 kilometers east of Timmins and 50 kilometers northeast of Kirkland Lake.

Maybe we should just stick to talking about the great project that Harte is.  We can agree there.

But to adrress your quoted post, I don't understand your question of respect.  

I do agree that at this point, we cannot be held individually responsible for past atrocities.  We can and should however, make right those wrongs collectively.  

We cannot stop negotiating.  The First Nations people have rights and claims as well.  Their claims trump Hartes claims to land hands down in the laws of Canada. 

To say they have no rights is absolutely abhorrent and ignorant with no basis in law.  The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms makes it so. 

Again, there was no battle, no war between First Nations people and those settlers who would eventually claim the land as theirs.  The battle now is in securing appropriate apologies and making First Nations people whole from the damages the "white settlers" inflicted on them.  That too, was abhorrent.

Yes, I did use the term "aboriginal" but I understand it is not a label First Nations use or recognize. 

Anyway, keep drilling and keep negotiating Steve.  I am glad you understand the importance of both.
