NOISE, FEAR and FACTS

NOISE, FEAR and FACTSThere has been los of noise around this company mostly generated by vested intrerests trying to manipulate unit price (so it seems).

The JCP letter coming at close heels of the negative article in SA may be by design or it is just a coincidence i.e. genuine concern by these investors who have invested a lot of money in this company. Prima facie issues seem to be genuine but may not withstand closer scrutiny.

JE is in same business and carries a much heavier debt load. Crius's debt load (after applying the business related handicap), is not as bad as some of the big companies in other businesses. Crius's Pay out is much better than many companies. JE renewed their NCIB bid but have not bought any shares so far since March 20.

People behind SA article may be interested in getting their hands on some cheap units. They could have held a small short position to justify their claims (very few people seem to have access to short report on this trust);  or it could be people who have been taking profits over $9 and they wanted to buy back cheap.

All of the negative accusations have caused serious damage  to company's and management's reputation. Management has to put across concrete arguements and plans to restore investor confidence.

One thing to be kept in mind (which management also highlighted) is that institutions must have done due diligence to be buying at $8.45 and $9.80.
