“Insufficient similarity is the curse of analogy.” We are talking about the face the company appears to be presenting to the public. That face is “cosmetically challenged.” I have not claimed that “only smart on paper counts” – that is a straw man easily destroyed – but irrelevant.
 
You seem to suggest that incompetence displayed in one area is usually an indication of genius in some other. It is not. Rather, it raises questions about a more general incompetence.
