RE: 2017 quarter 4 Reults

RE: 2017 quarter 4 Reults Nothing disappointing here at all, in my humble opinion.

The best info is in the new 43-101 on Sedar.  For example page 285 has the opex estimates for the next 4 years. 2018 US$725m; 2019 US$737m; 2020 US$767m etc.

With production of 150kt and 11kt confirmed, the mine is looking at almost US$2bn is revenue this year and US$5bn next year.  Clearly this is going to be a very profitable mine for many years and KAT owns 75% of it.

Of course there might be some higher taxes or royalties to pay, but i'll wait and see how that develops.  The other thing I noticed in the financials today was a US$4.5bn tax loss carry forward that Katanga can apply...which is nice to have given US$6bn of liabilities.
