....However, just to be clear xB3 will also facilitate uptake of payload by many tissues outside of the brain as well, as evidenced by the 2016 Pharm Research trastuzumab-melanotransferrin conjugate (BT2111) study. The xB3 receptor(s) are not BBB-specific....

My recollection from prior discussions is that it is less of a problem with XB3 receptors than transferrin and insulin receptors (and especially true if they have to jack up their doses to get an efficacious % across the BBB).
