RE:RE:RE:Who is ready for $2 it's coming just wait and see. Okay, I'll bite.
It may go lower, but I'm certian it will go higher. As it has today. $2 is laughable for VFF's future production capacity and shares outstanding. It is the least diluted of the major LPs at 45M S/O.
If the black market already meets current demand, major LPs wouldn't be racing to expand production. I also doubt EMH, VFF's joint venture partner would have increased revenues by over 300% from 2016 to 2017 from medical marijuana alone.
Once legalization is in full swing, black markets will get crushed by economies of scale. The general sentiment is that people would rather get their supply from regulated, licensed producers with quality assurance and not get screwed by street sellers lacing fentanyl in their product.
Mackie Research pegged demand for marijuana in 2018 at 795,000 kg. Do you know what current supply looks like? for 2021? If not, I would say your understanding of this industry is cursory at best. Not saying that oversupply won't become an eventuality in Canada at some point, but consider the fact that European nations like Germany and Italy are already scrambling to secure supply contracts with APH, ACB, and WEED. These major LPs are well positioned to compete internationally and have a huge head start. VFF will be among them.
