Cheapest Way to Invest in Apartments

Mainstreet is by far the cheapest way to invest in apartments. People love the apartment investment thesis, and rightfully so, but when wanting to get expsoure they pile into CAPREIT out of habit and because they haven't done their homework.

If you can overlook the lack of dividend (and I think you should), MEQ is the way to go. If you need a dividend, then MRG.UN or NVU.UN are better ways to go than CAPREIT.
