RE:Here's hopingThat is definitely the best case scenario. 4 months is not a lot of time to finish a building purchase. Plus it looks like on average of 2 to 4 months to get a license. If they hired a consultant in December then in that time something must be moving forward.
"BC Genetics has also engaged an ACMPR consultant with respect to a potential ACMPR application."
That could very well be why AMS has decided to not release any updates on the deal or BC Genetics itself. Worried it would be a wasted news release.
If the building was pretty much a go then there wouldn't be much needed for construction.
"Alchemist reports that BC Genetics has identified a location and structure appropriate for the development of a Licensed Producer (“LP”) facility under the ACMPR. Following a survey of the Southern Gulf Islands region, a site was identified that met criteria including appropriate zoning, water supply, infrastructure, land ownership and geographic location."
As you mentioned, the only people who would be privy to that info would be BC Genetics and AMS, and David has been granting options and buying up shares.
"The proposed LP will be designed for both marijuana production and the genomically-informed breeding of new cannabis strains.........New cannabis strains produced in the potential LP will be grown, market tested and then made available through exclusive sales or licensing to other ACMPR Licensed Producers."
