RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Here comes the squeeeeze

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Here comes the squeeeeze I'm a good deal wiser now than I was at your age. I see it all over the place, younger people writing off older people as stupid. Not realizing that the very things they are seeking we already have. Not realizing that we had already made the mistakes they were making at the time. A few years ago I was in a grocery store standing next in line at the self checkout with 10 or more people behind me. This guy about 30 or so looked at me an jumped in front. I went to him at the checkout and pointed to the end of the line, I then stepped in front of him and proceeded to run my purchases through. The guy went nuts, yelling and screaming and calling me names mostly related to age. I finsished checking out and left thinking that was the end of it. Well much to my surprise who should show up at my office the following week wanting to do an IPO. I asked him to come back with a detailed presentation. I set the followup appointment for two days later knowing he would work all night and day to pull it togther. Then I asked for more information and a month later he was still running back and forth thinking I was in his camp. It was the most rewarding non deal I had never done. I thought he was going cry when I turned the deal down. We live in a world of less than 6 degrees of separation we would all do well to build bridges.
