RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:With 30 Minutes To Go

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:With 30 Minutes To GoPeter75...not sure who you are nor do i much care.  But i run concentrated portfolio's holding 10 to 20 stocks at any one time.  When i see a good opportunity i load up and then i sit tight.
I hold positions in the 10'000's if i can acquire them at the right price and for the right opportunity.  Liquidity is also pretty important too.  Just reduced a position in another company that was not as liquid as BNP and it took me 2 weeks to go from 140,000 to 42500 to hold the remaining.
And stocks are not my biggest asset class...Investment Real Estate is 70% of our wealth and it pays a very handsome annual income in rents.  Capital appreciation is never a given but that's just a side benefit.  Buying good quality / opportunistic stocks is a hobby and a good diversifier.  But i wouldn't count on the success of stocks as so much can go wrong.
Also i'm not the only one on this board holding well over 100,000 shares in BNP.
At some point this will move over 2 bills and likely higher.  If you are confident in your research and your DD then make your investment and ignore the noise.  If you hold 50 stocks you may as well buy a mutual fund as you surely can't follow those.  Heck it's hard following 10 to 15 companies well.
Good luck and hopefully we all see 5 to 10 bucks in the next 5 years.
Cheers...S
