I saw one article on Seeking Alpha, which said "Canopy capacity now is 650 Tons/Year. The article also said Canopy has the capacity to ramp up the production to 2,000 Tons/year relatively quickly".

We have 5.4 M ft2 now. I have also seen in few different places, few million ft2 here, few million ft2 there, etc. Also, partnering with many other people

In this context, 2,000 Tons/year may not be too far fetched.   Thanks.

Canopy Growth’s last quarter had produced 7961 kg of bud.  This was from approx. 560,000 sq ft of grow space. (Indoor & greenhouse)
Rounding up this production level would translate to 32 tonnes per year.

5.4 million square feet, represents an almost ten fold increase in grow space and supporting infrastructure. Current promises has all this production implemented in calendar 2018.

Well a ten fold increase in their current production performance would translate to 320 tons per year.  That is a little bit shy of the 2000 Tons/year you have forecasted. It would still leave them as the #1 Canadian producer.

Canopy. Is adding about 4 million sq feet of greenhouse grow this year but the reality is these greenhouses are low tech.  Harvest production yields from these facilities will fluctuate with weather conditions.  And the BC and Quebec locations will offer less natural sunlight then their existing greenhouse in Niagara.

And their existing production has demonstrated inconsistency.
1st Qtr 2018~.   5575 kg
2nd Qtr 2018-      4167 kg
3rd Qtr 2018-          7961 kg

Based on current production performance Canopy will be challenged to achieve a maximum production 320 tonnes per year.  Time will tell. Weather has to be their friend.  And quarter to quarter production will fluctuate.

But also remember Canopy Growth’s ownership of the 3 million square feet BC production is 2/3 and ownership of the 700,000 square feet of Quebec production is about 40%. (Canopy Rivers has 1/3 of Quebec and Canopy Growth’s ownership of Canopy Rivers is now less than 30%)
