RE:The argument against a Uranium Bull Run

RE:The argument against a Uranium Bull RunNow this post is a breath of fresh air Canwin21. Thankyou for applying some logic and common sense to the forum. I use the Motley Fool Service and have found it very useful and I have read this article. In making any investment decision there are always pro's and con's. If there were none it would be easy....there are and it isn't.
Commodities always go in cycles. There are mountains of data to support that so as an investor one needs to figure out where the commodity you are interested in fits in that cycle and what the likely time frames are. In my opinion (and I have studied this a lot) Uranium is not quite out of the bear territory yet. As a rule of thumb general pessimism about a commodity is a good indicator. Better yet when people start to question your sanity for investing in a commodity when everyone knows it is finished (point of maximum pessimism) that is the time to invest.
It is one of the reasons I post on these boards...to figure out the level of negativity and compare that to the facts of the investing situation.
Most will lack the patience necessary to catch the bull when it starts to move but those who invest with a steady hand will be very well rewarded when it does. The issue for all contrarian investors is we do not know when. But timing markets is not the name of the game. Making money is.
Excellent post and a good article well worth the read.

I get tired of the bashers arguing with weak or dated opinions.  BUT is always good to listen to and consider opposing views from credible sources. Here is an April 7/18 article from The Motley Fool:  "Is It Over For Uranium".  https://www.fool.ca/2018/04/07/is-it-over-for-uranium/
