I agree to not let the day to day stuff bother you.  But you can't necessarily just not watch the stock for a few months.  That could be a big mistake.

For example, in 2-3 months this could be in dollar land (this is just an example, I don't believe it will be in dollar land that soon).  but then in 5-6 months it could be in penny land again.

Example, the marijuana sector was super hot in December and January.  but in February it crashed.

So my opinion, you should keep a watch on your stocks.  don't just forget about them for months at a time because that could be a big mistake
