RE:The volume is picking up also

RE:The volume is picking up alsoVolume has picked up, yes, but interesting how it has shifted recently to the OTCQX.com exchange in the U.S.

Despite having the Toronto Venture Exchange as its home, recently there has been more activity on OTCQX.  Generally it makes sense to check both before trading, as they don't mirror each other.  Quotes are in U.S. $.

For example, on Toronto it shows as .1507 bid /  .1547 ask

On the OTCQX it is .142 bid and .150 ask

Yes there are various delays, but this isn't so unusual.  In theory, you could buy at the OTCQX ask and hit the Toronto bid.  Not me, because Schwab has to pay 1/4th to 1/3rd cent for a member broker to trade on the Toronto.

Yesterday, I was making several small buys on OTCQX, and the robots were dodging my offers, literally backing away as I tried to approach them.  After chasing them repeatedly, I pulled my order for half an hour and waited for them to walk back before pouncing.

Back to volume, as I write this, 37,500 shares have traded in Toronto, but  157,864 on OTCQX.

This group has been very patient, so here's a tip, many know:  If you are patient, you need not sell at the bid or buy at the ask.  If you simply improve on either, you will become the best bid or ask, and frequently get filled.
