I have to believe that one of the main reasons he is doing so is to send a small message to shareholders that a change is probably on the doorstep and to keep the share price from collapsing. I can't imagine there is a whole lot of time left to set things in motion.
It would explain why there has been a recent subtle name change for Everton as listed on my stock portfolio. I've never been involved in a company that changed horses so to speak. My broker told me that, from their perspective, the company is still trading as though things are normal.
I've owned other mining companies that have simply faded to black. This is as risky as it gets as we could suddenly end up with a dead horse. Right now I don't feel so smart.
