Why I picked LIB & why we need to CHILL!Michelle…not seeing this volume, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Any stock with very low volume is going to easily drop when there are more sellers than buyers. It's simple economics. On that same note, a sharp increase in volume from good news could send this thing to the moon. The fact that we keep losing a few cents per week is directly connected to the minimal volume we’ve been experiencing. This doesn't mean that Liberty Leaf is dropping the ball! Low volume, generally speaking, is a very positive factor for a stock that’s waiting on news. It means that we have investors; not just traders; but investors like me who don’t plan on selling for a long time.
I know it sucks to go in every day and see red, but there is a reason the Horizons ETF chose LIB as one of their holdings (https://www.horizonsetfs.com/horizons/media/ETFData/en-ca/HMJR/HorizonsHMJRHoldings.xls - not their largest holding, but it's also not a $2 or $3 stock...point is, LIB was picked). LIB was picked because of the massive potential to increase shareholder equity given LIB’s differentiation in this sector. Yes, some more frequent updates would be nice, but this company has an extremely strong position to make huge profits in the Canadian market and abroad with their presence at various levels of the supply chain. Sure, they’ll be into licensed production, but it’s the compliance / branding, distribution and sales (North Roads) where the money is going to be made in this industry.
Still, let's not just forget about Just Kush (their LP). Unlike a lot of the spec stocks, Just Kush is not a maybe type of thing with some meaningless LOI...the deal is done, and they are already growing pot there under the smaller scale MMRA license. Yes, you are reading that correctly...LIB is already licensed and we are at .33 cents and at the bottom of our chart! As soon as the ACMPR comes through LIB can expand into the 13 available acres at the Just Kush site. The stock market has always seemed to favor production output in the pot sector. Well, LIB already has some, and the potential for expansion is huge.
However, when the dust clears, the big profits will be made on licensed distribution deals, compliance, post production sales, etc. This is why LIB is going to make a ton of money. Instead of complaining, what we should all be doing is spreading the word about the phenomenal entry point that exists right now for LIB. If I had any cash left, I would be buying even more. Pot is far from dead, and so is this stock. If you don’t believe me, check out the share price for Phillip Morris. That’s where the real players in this industry are headed, and I believe LIB to be very, very real.
