Calling all SHORTS
Calling all SHORTS Looks like we have a slight problem. Appears that BAR is now at the mercy of the short sellers. Bad mouthing BAR and creating a nasty diversion from reality. Of course their goal is to drive BAR to 0 which means they make money all the way down to the grand payoff. Just looking at the short data on the OTC (BALMF) it doesn’t look very nice with many days where short volume is > 40% of volume. The 40% figure is a ballpark value that indicates issues with shorts. So please take the negative mom bo jumbo that is posted on all blogs with many grains of salt! These guys can run in packs like rabbit dogs and have very destructive forces on stock prices. I know there are software services that can track and nail these traders, the cost is about $27,000 for a years worth of service, also, useful for nailing naked short junk dealers and traders.
Ever since the TSX dropped the Uptick rule, the shorts can now short a stock as its price is dropping. I don’t have all the data for the short volume on the TSX but the little I have seen looks very nasty as well.
