Wouldn't it be a kick in the nuts if it turned out MMJ got categorized as a micro-cultivator?!  A $100 million market cap for what turns out to be a mom and pop scale cottage industry operation?!?!?!  And revenue (assuming they manage any) to be split between deeeep management pockets and 340,000,000+++ shares?

From Canopy Growth ... "a 250,000 square foot greenhouse should be able to produce around 10,000 kilograms of marijuana annually..."

You guys better hope that was a typo cause Matica and their tiny 750 kg annual production is almost twice that number ... in other words their 750 kg might be wildly optimistic cause the same numbers Canopy Growth used translate to 400 kg annual production for Matica.

"Micro-processors would be allowed to process up to 600 kilograms of dried cannabis per year."

The numbers are somewhat questionable, but at the same time from one LP to another it changes.
If I am correct, you apply to health canada for an amount of PLANTS to grow.
eg...1000 plants or 5000 plants.......
Having looked at the numbers....square footage, lighting systems, grow cyles, cultivation space...
It is about 100 grams per plant, although the CEO from MARI says it is about 115 grams per plant.
To summarize it, if the growing space is 1000 square feet, the yeild per year is 10% it about 100 kgrams.
For a 10,000 square foot facility, you may have maximum of 4000 sq feet of growing. Given there is walls, hallways, offices and of course let us not forget the state of the art washrooms.
This in turn willl result in 400kgrams per year of yeild, unless you have state of art growing facility will LED lights, water systems etc..... but they do not yeild as much as one would think.
Studies have HPS lighting as the most yeild, with less water and less fertilizer.
Moving on.
How is the cannabis to enter this medical cream, are they going to crush, squash it like our forefathers did  with grapes...... NO, it has to get processed to CBD.....WHO IS GOING TO DO THAT. (share dilution, money).
Then, there is branding and packaging. (more money, share dilution)
Are sales limited to Canada. GMP certification, exporting, importing, sales licenses and buy seeds. They can not buy clones...
More share dilution, or more BUKS.......
This thing has a way to go..........with more shares to BE outstanding......
