RE:Why FOR ME Charting is so critical....
Michael it really does boggle the mind.
I was born in 1962...a tail end baby boomer. Probably the most stable years as I just turned 56. I was to young to understand vietnam so was spared the emotions. The 70's 80's were all fun and games, sports, discos, well dressed, YUPPY of the 80's, fast cars and boats, 1986 bad car accident, C7 spinal cord injury, life in a manual wheelchair begins. Rehab, back to work and now wheelchair sports thru the 90's, Team Canada 5 times...great ride...lots of training...so much fun...travelled the world...thank you Team Canada and I retire form work with LTD in late 90's. 2001 9/11...beginning of a new era...never to return to the freedom/security I/we had as I did growing up. Life was and is still good continuing with sport and Team Canada, marriage and now a 10 year old daughter today.
Still...since 2001 as I watched the towers drop on tv after a morning of fishing at the cottage. I go outside, sitting on my dock looking out at the lake, beer in hand, I take a sip....how lucky am I...or have been?!
The lake is calm...New York is crumbling.
Like you more so since 2001 you 2008 we now live in fearful state of mind...not knowing what is next...war? weather? crime? racism? All having escalated once again.
We have gone from moving forward to returning to what was.
Don't mean to be so sentimental...just makes me relate to your mind set on recent issues.
Gotta be happy to be Canadian.
