RE:RE:Dynacor Announces Share Buy Back ProgramWhile I understand Toes' frustration, I see the Buyback differently - as a logical precursor to instituting a dividend policy. At present we are down about 50% from our $3.50 high from mid 2016 and so, while a dividend announcement could be expected to boost the share price somewhat, it would be a waste to use that lift when the share price is already depressed. To my mind, it is better to implement a share buyback program now to float the price back up (on a sustainable basis) over the coming year. The 1-2 million shares thereby cancelled decreases the cost of maintaining a dividend program and share buyback would be more expensive if you approached it in the opposite order. For myself, I am taking this opportunity to top up my own holdings and anticipate being rewarded for my patience with both a higher share price and, ultimately, a sustainable dividend. ULarge
