The reason for me saying that is down to the use of the word "disruption" in Lucara's description of the new platform.
Here is the description as published on debut in February:-
"The current supply chain is static, inefficient and infelxible; uses an entrenched system that hasn't changed in over 100 years, and is ripe for disruption."
"Recent technolgical advances make disruption possible and inevitable."
'Disruption' is an agressive and unfriendly action.
A selection of dictionary definitions confirm the theme:-
...interrept by causing a problem or disturbance.
...to prevent something, especially a system, process, or event, from continuing as usual
...to interrupt or throw something into disorder
Why would they launch Clara with fighting talk from the get go?
I'm guessing that Eira et al had been working on this idea for some time and when they probed the market for reaction, were rebuffed by the dinosaurs who have most to lose.
Who will win? Clara will win because of the other word used - it's inevitable.
When the word “ disruptive “ is used in this context it’s not so much fighting words but progress through innovativion .
Whether Clara is disruptive or not our share price issue started long before Clara ever showed up . No amount of good press moves Lucara’s share price higher . Not even finding more diamonds ! It’s downright hostile . Lundin keeping the price down. I doubt it . On a positive note for about a week Haywood has been on the buy and Never on the sell.
